A tour and travel expert had criticized Omoni Oboli for the copyright of his work in her movie Love in Every Word. The movie was taken down from YouTube due to a copyright claim made against the actress, but it was later put back up.
The founder of Ou Travel and Tour, Chime Chinedu Abumchukwu, has openly addressed Nollywood actress and producer Omoni Oboli regarding copyright violations of his creations.
Chime revealed what he wanted from the actress, saying that Omoni Oboli should respect and honor intellectual property. Additionally, he stated that she ought to properly acknowledge him for his contributions to her movie. Chime went on to say that if Oboli followed his advice, her gesture would be a fantastic way to highlight Nigeria’s rich cultural legacy. Chime confirmed that he felt honored to have his creations featured in her film.
