Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogudu, made headlines on social media on Friday after socialite Sophia Egbueje posted voice notes claiming he promised her a Lamborghini truck but never delivered. In the recordings, shared online, Sophia narrated to a friend how she linked up with Burna Boy through Ama Reginald, an influencer and girlfriend to Burna Boy’s PA, King Manny.
Initially reluctant to engage, Sophia claimed she rarely associated with artistes. However, Reginald allegedly persuaded her to take Burna Boy seriously. Sophia claimed Burna Boy promised her a Lamborghini, among other things, in the recordings. Eventually, they had a face-to-face meeting, grew close, and maintained communication.
She said that after the encounter, Burna Boy started playing games, abandoned her, and broke all of his promises. Her claims have generated a lot of conversation on social media, with users offering a range of perspectives on the event.
