JUSUN’s decision to embark on the strike stems from several unmet demands:
Non-payment of wage awards: Five months of wage awards remain unpaid.
Implementation of the ₦70,000 national minimum wage: The proposed increase has not been actualized.
Salary increments: The agreed 25% and 35% salary increases under the Consolidated Judicial Salary Structure have not been implemented.

Benin: The Federal High Court ceased operations due to the strike .
