The tweet alleged that Skales said:
“I divorced my wife because of a comment she made on my post and I don’t regret it… People cannot be mocking your husband’s music career… and you join.”
In response, Skales took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account to debunk the claim, stating:
“This is really evil of you that you would cook up such a story. This is not fair. I have never made such a statement and this is false. Please stop spreading lies.”
This incident follows a series of publicized events in Skales’ personal life. In late 2022, after the passing of his mother, Skales released a diss track where he referred to his wife as “the devil,” accusing her of insensitivity during his time of grief. He later publicly apologized for his outburst, acknowledging that he was overwhelmed by emotions and should have handled the situation privately.
