Following the terrible murder of a schoolboy in Ibadan, Oyo State, who was allegedly shot by a police stray bullet, Nigerian comedian and campaigner Mr. Macaroni has voiced his displeasure.
The incident happened close to Gbagi Market, where police officers were allegedly pursuing a car, according to eyewitness accounts. A secondary school youngster was sitting in his father’s car when a cop allegedly opened fire during the pursuit, striking him with a stray bullet.
Along with his twin brother, the student was hurried to Welfare Hospital to take the current WAEC exam, but upon arrival, it was determined that he had passed away. In order to notify Governor Seyi Makinde, protesters reportedly brought the body to the Oyo State Secretariat.
Mr. Macaroni, devastated by the news, denounced the Nigerian Police Force on social media.
