Nollywood singer and actress Angela Okorie has boasted about her frequent international travels and flawless visa acceptance record. Angela displayed her old Nigerian passports in a recent Instagram story post, citing them as evidence of her frequent travels throughout the world, especially to the US, which she says she has been visiting frequently for more than 12 years. Angela emphasized how much she enjoys the freedom of travel, but she made it plain that she had no intention of living outside of Nigeria.
She recognized the stigma associated with Nigerian passports at international borders while considering the difficulties many Nigerians encounter with foreign immigration procedures.
She took use of the occasion to gently advise people who had just started traveling and could be showing it off on social media to maintain their modesty and live life in the moment.
She wrote in a long post:
“Will you believe me if I tell you that I have never had a visa denied before? I adore being an American citizen, but my issue is that it seems to be getting worse. I’ve been traveling to America for more than 12 years, and I enjoy using my Naija passport to enter any country I choose. However, once I reach Oyinbo, I’ll be stepping aside.
“Some of you just started taking travels, and I still get people who pass me for taking excursions, so if you step aside when you open my passport, you just tell me to go, You will get there, so relax and enjoy life.
