Nigerian musician Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, better known by his stage name Mayorkun, has reflected on his career and praised David Adeleke, often known as Davido. Maryokun was first signed by the Awuke crooner to his musical label, Davido Worldwide Music, in 2016. Later, the musician joined Olamide’s record company, YBNL, after leaving Davido’s label. In a widely shared post, Mayorkun commemorated nine years since the release of his debut album, Eleko, under Davido’s label. After then, nothing stayed the same for him as a vocalist, according to singer Mayorkun. Keep in mind that Mayorkun has never held back when discussing Davido, the former head of his record label. He once agreed to an interview and talked eloquently about his three years of cohabitation with Davido. Even though he was no longer signed to his record label, Davido has remained to love and support Mayorkun.
