Dayo Amusa, a Nollywood actress, has thought back on her experience being a mother.
The actress revealed how she sobbed in front of her domestic helpers, pleading with God to grant her a child.
She mentioned that she had had multiple medical examinations and operations in an attempt to conceive, and that she had given God a choice: either end her life or fulfill his promise for her.
“I remember I was singing at the deepest and the top of my voice,” Amusa remarked in a recent interview with Debbie Shokoya. I recall crying so much that I seemed to be oblivious to the presence of my maid and domestic help. I was telling God that I had two options: either you fulfill the promise you made to me, or you take my life right now. If there is anything good left in my life, I believe now is the moment.
I sobbed and confessed my fatigue to God. I was aware of the number of medical examinations I had undergone. I am aware of how many procedures I have undergone. I therefore prayed to God to allow this to occur if it does. He should murder me if it won’t happen.
The online community remembers Dayo Amusa gave birth to a child named Oluwafirewamiri in November of last year.
She earlier disclosed that her infertility caused her ex-husband to leave her and conceive another woman.
